Countryside Senior Living of Athens is a resident-centered assisted living and Dementia Care community. We provide a home-like environment for seniors who need assistance with normal activity of daily living. Our well-trained staff are specialized in memory-related diseases and offer assistance in all areas of care.

A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number, 1-800-252-2412.

Meet Tonya Anderson our Executive Director for Countryside Senior Living of Athens

Caring, Loving and Understanding. My name is Tonya Anderson and those are some of my most important qualities. I have been an Executive Director for five years and during my time I have met so many amazing and wonderful families. I have experienced the love and compassion from residents and staff of different facilities, however my time at Countryside has had my most treasured memories.

I began my senior living career with Hospice of East Texas. I was a proud caregiver for nine years and during that time I learned that family, love and trust are the key components to a healthy and happy journey of life. After that stage of my life, I became an activity director for 4 years and found that no matter what stage of life you are in there is always time for your passion, your enjoyment of life and to live like there is no tomorrow. Finally, my time as an Executive Director has been my most rewarding. From my experience as a caregiver to an activity director I am now able to ensure your loved one is not only cared for but is also loved and cherished by our staff and residents.

Good place for your loved one. They really do care and try here. Head director Tonya and Head nurse Emery work hard to accommodate your loved one and their situation. The whole staff is wonderful and thoughtful. Highly recommend Country Side.

My mother-in-law moved in here just over a month ago. They are the most caring people and treat their residents as family. She loves it there and we are so happy that she is happy.

I love Countryside Senior Living my father has been here for 2 years . Ms. Anderson the director of the Facility is very friendly and she shows great hospitality when we come to visit.
